Welcome to our Web site!
The
Rosenthal family lives in
Cicero, Indiana.
Cicero is a small town
approximately 30 miles North of Indianapolis (just North of Carmel,
Westfield and closer yet Noblesville). We live on Morse Reservoir,
which is one of only two main public ski lakes in the Indianapolis
area. Currently Dave works for
Delphi (formerly
known as Delphi Automotive) in Kokomo, Indiana.
In Dave's spare time he likes to take a stab at software development.
We have a daughter Erin (10 yrs old) and a son Justin (8 yrs old).
Denise has been a stay-at-home mom since March 2000. Although she
was part-time since Justin was born, we cannot
tell you how great this has been having Denise home building our family!!! Our family attends
Grace Community
Church, which is located in Noblesville (if you live in the area,
check it out).
In 2002 Dave changed roles within Delphi by accepting the position of
manager of the Delphi Global Desktop Build Center. In his new role
his team is responsible for all PC desktop builds as well as all
application integration. He still has responsibility for the UNIX
client/server team, so work keeps him quite busy. Dave has great people working for him, which is the key to being successful.

As you might have guessed, the family enjoys water sports. Dave skis
before work in the summer (yes, we ski from 5am to 6am - UGH) with two
other Delphi "nuts", Doug Niccum and Bill Whitlock. Most of
Denise's free time is spent with the usual activities of carpooling
kids, volunteering at the school, helping lead a Daisy Scout troop and
all the other things associated with being a wife and mommy. Actually
we really enjoy camping, swimming, skiing, and racing around the lake on our
wave runners. In the winter ice skating is the sport of choice,
although a close second is sofa coasting.
If you have ever wondered what the definition of paradise is, just
take a look at the picture below. This is taken from our deck just
outside of our bedroom. Although the Mastercraft is out on the
lake, I think you understand why we feel so blessed. Better yet, if
you really want to know what paradise is, just check out
Dave's company car (is
Dave's company crazy or what...or perhaps only Dave is...).
