Windows CE Development Anyone?

Do you develop applications on a PocketPC running Windows CE 3.0? If so, drop Dave a line at windowsce@The-Rosenthals.com.  Below are screen shots of some of the applications I have developed for my PDA.

Check them out:

PocketPC (CE 3.0):     Stopwatch, Contact Viewer and Phone Book Lookup
PsPC (CE 2.11):           Stopwatch and Phone Book Lookup
HPC Pro (CE 3.0):       Stopwatch and Phone Book Lookup

Contact Viewer:

ContactViewer allows you to see contact information in a spreadsheet like format - most of all, you can SORT BY COMPANY!!!  Wow!!!  (what was Microsoft thinking when they released CE 3.0).  It also allows you to jump directly to entries in the display, and also allows you to chose which columns you wish to display.  Many Many more features coming soon - please hang in there!

Beta Version 1.0.2 (9/22/2000) allows you to select the columns to display, not to mention it has MAJOR performance enhancements added!  Check it out!

Phone Book Lookup and Stopwatch:

My Phone Book Lookup basically allows the user to display and search information which is stored in a text file; in this case an export from our corporate phone directory.

Here are PsPC snapshots as well.  Two snapshots: first is the Phone Book Lookup just after invocation, and the second is after searching for the number 5210 (my department) using the small phone book (only lastnames N to Z). If you think about it, this would work for ANY type of data file - my data is just text stored in a flat file!  And of course, my stopwatch application in action.

For those of you who have never heard of a PDA, windows CE, iPAQ PDA or a Casio E-100, here is a picture of one - it is totally awesome! The Casio is similar to the Palm Pilot, but it runs Microsoft Windows CE instead of Palm OS. However, NEVER call my Casio a Palm Pilot!!! Notice it is color, it has stereo sound, plays MP3's, full motion video, connects to a GPS, connects to internet via wireless connection, oh, and has a camera you can add to it - but I just use it for work :> !!!
